Critical Hits
What is the exact definition of a critical hit for this game? I don't notice critical hits doing much more damage than a normal hit.

Guildwiki Is down.
A critical hit is the maximum damage your weapon deals. So for axe, you'd deal 28 dmg. |

I'm no expert, but I believe that a critical hit results in DOUBLE the maximum damage from your weapon. A critical hit with a weapon skill will result in double the additional skill bonus damage as well.

Wiki isn't down ATM. It does NOT do double damage. But it does do more than the posted max damage of the weapon. Check the wiki link posted above for more info.

What I remember is that a critical strike deals damage as if your attribute is +4. So, for example, a sword warrior with 12 in swordsmanship would deal damage as if he had 16 in swordsmanship.
Also, for assassins, with 13 in critical strikes, not only do you have a 13% more likely chance to land a crit, but you gain 3 energy for each one. With 8 in critical strikes, you get 2 energy for each critical hit. I believe the cutoff point for 1 energy is at attribute level 3, but not positive about that one off the top of my head. |

A critical hit is max damage * radical 2. (Actually very common in games....)
Try wildblow, you will be able to tell what number you should be looking for. |
